I do hope those of you new to Luceti are settling in well.

...Sir Silverburg, may I have a moment? Kratos, you as well.

[That's the best she can do, but she at least knows it's better than Sigmund's.]

Please do not take Sigmund's attitude personally.

[Because Kratos has been here long enough to know how to make these things locked tight, let's bump it up.]

I am not. [Even though it's just a tiny bit frustrating.]

If you like, I will speak with him.

Speaking to him may help decrease the tension... But in the end, I will be the one to talk with him.

... [And since it's locked:] I cannot understand why he's acting like this.

He is merely... [Controlling. Possessive of his belongings. Distrustful of strangers. Doesn't want Mommy/best friend/old girlfriend to remarry.]

...hm.

[But they were companions before, and it's not like Kratos did anything to warrant this attitude! At least, he doesn't think so. That's mostly why this is kind of frustrating; He kind of misses Sigmund the Friend and isn't sure what made him turn into Sigmund the Brat.]

... I suppose only you would know.

[Congrats. You have met the Sigmund of Many Moods. You get used to it if you live with him for hundreds of years or are Edward.]

Give him time. Sigmund is always rather coarse to those unused to him. [And who "randomly" -in his eyes- live with his mother, you dirty so-and-so.]

[Great.]

It seems time is all this village has to offer. Thankfully... I have plenty to give. [He is NOT a dirty so-and-so. D| ... Even though he was the one who offered to have her live with him. And keeps kissing her. And would've been lucky if it weren't for that meddling zombiechild.]

I will speak to him. I shall not mention our relationship if you do not desire it, but perhaps he has some fears he is unwilling to share. [That she can forcefully pry from him.]

... I am certain to become Luceti's most wanted criminal in his eyes if he hears of our relationship too soon.

I do not believe Sigmund to be quite that unreasonable, though I am certain he shall be irate for some time were that to happen.

[Now, when Lloyd acted like this, all Kratos had to do was smack him around and help him out a little and accidentally unveil a life changing revelation in order for him to finally come around. He's not sure if Sigmund is the same case or not, and, well... His own parent would know best.]

... Whatever you believe would be best suited for this situation. I am to train with him come Wednesday. I fear he may use that day as an opportunity.

Sigmund would not behave so disgracefully as to use it as an opportunity to cause you harm, Kratos.

[Noted. But he doesn't exactly have faith in Svala's words. Mostly because he's comparing Sigmund to Lloyd and Lloyd took every opportunity after his betrayal to try and beat the man's head into the ground.]

Regardless, there will be high tension that must be released.

That is likely, but I do not believe he would do so out of a desire to resolve any conflict between you. Sigmund simply is not that type of person. If it seems he is being rather hard on you...I suppose that is merely because that is his method of testing those he perceives as his peers.
