(no subject)
i was snowed in basically. with 10 inches of shit outside and no plow in sight, we couldn't go anywhere. kyle almost died trying to get down our driveway this morning in our 4 wheel drive car and couldn't even get up it in the afternoon, he had to park on the street and walk up. so yeah, they finally came tonight but by then it was too late to go our seperate ways. my mom, my dad and i basically all sat in the living room for the entire day, me on my brothers laptop, my dad watching tv and my mom reading her book. i wanted a bagel soooooooooooo bad but couldn't get one. my mom was ready to strangle me cuz i must have said ' i want a bagel' 2095820958 times, no joke. and my dad was on the verge of just going out and getting me one haha, but my mom wouldn't let him. eventually the plow came and WOO I GOT MY BAGEL. it was glorioussssssss. then tonight i baked brownies and was extremely bored so they suggested i read a book. i told them i always have a hard time starting a book for some reason so my mom jokingly(and drunkenly) decided she was going to read outloud to me, haha. oh man. at first i was like 'great, here we go...' but it was kind of fun lol. first it brought me back to like 2nd grade when i had to read 30 pages every night with my parents and then write about in a journal, and then it brought me back to a more recent memory of maura reading her teddy roosevelt biography outloud to me on vacation haha. at one point we were dying laughing because there was a sentence that read "he munched his supper, eyes blinked blah blah blah" but my mom read "he munched his super eyes..." and i was like '.....he munched his super eyes??' and she started laughing cuz i was making fun of her and then i started laughing cuz she was laughing so hard and then my dad started laughing w/ his ridiculously retarded laugh which always make me crack up so in a matter of mins we were all laughing and crying and yeah lol, it was kind of cute.
