This year I decided to read some of the classics, and suddenly had disposable income. Thanks to that my book collection has rather grown. Here is a list of all the books I've read this year (and in 2007 and 2006), and here is a list of all the books I have on my shelf.
Of the books I've read this year, 7 were written before 1850. Of those, in 6 the main characters were happily married by the end. Here's where you come in. Recommend me some more of these rather lovely classics! Or, if that's not your style, recommend me something else.
