Incapable
of contorting
my limbs
into
your ideal shape
of a girl
so I chop myself up instead
and postmark
my mutilated pieces
to your address

don't be afraid to
open
the package
don't be afraid
to open the truth
behind a beautiful
woman

Reasons why today sucked:

- My bagel was soggy
- I knocked my coffee cup and it spilt all over the aisle of the lecture hall. It was a carpeted one, so it left a big stain. This is the second time this year (I'm pretty sure there's still a huge stain in room 030 in Mackinnon from last semester)...
- While I was bending down and picking the coffee cup off the ground, I also knocked my binder over and my notes came flying out... Luckily the professor didn't notice/care... It was more funny than embarassing but it was also a testament to my extreme clumsiness
- Part way through the same lecture, I realised that I had forgotten my english essay. I had to leave the lecture early so I could run home and get it because I would have no time in between because I had three classes in a row...
- I had three one and a half hour classes in a row... and a three hour lecture at night
- On my way to the Bullring to meet Lisa before Women's studies, I realised near Rozanski, that I had forgotten my Women's studies paper... I had to run back to res and then run back to the Bullring. You'd think that after I had forgotten a paper once this morning that I wouldn't do it again... wrong
- French Week has started and I have to protect my poker chips by not speaking english but I think I hate this already and want them to die and go away...

Reasons why today was good:

- I was wearing a Metric t-shirt!
- I hadn't seen Lisa in ages and I missed her
- Kristina now has Stars tickets and she loves the Stars and I love her
- I had pad thai
- I totally aced my Women's Studies exam (88% - I make a fucking good feminist... well, I'm so far good at the theory anyway)
- There is crazy music playing outside and it seems... interesting
- Mardi Gras in French House = cupcakes... yay
-Chris is the most amazing quasi-french person ever and aspire to be as awe-inspiring as he is! --chris
