Dream a little dream of... what now?
Last Thursday night, I dreamed that my family was on vacation and things were going wrong right and left. Missed planes, tunnels blowing up, disappearing luggage. We had brought three cats along (as you do), and acquired two more. So, with doors breaking open and such, part of the dream was literally spent-wait for it-herding cats. Late dream development? It was all fake, put on as part of an "exciting vacation package." Whose stupid idea was that?
The next dream was all running and hiding from people who might be infected with something deadly. There was a random stop at a video machine where you could plunk down your money and shirtless Idris Elba would talk sexy to you. I spent some $$ there, for reasons. Then it was back to running and hiding and trying to commandeer vehicles that still worked. Watching Z-Nation before bedtime is clearly a BAD idea. :O
The next morning, I woke up groggy and dizzy, feeling like I'd slept on my neck wrong. That lasted until 8pm at night! I spend the day struggling to work through thoughts, hampered by the unsteady ocean inside both ears. Good thing I was working at home.
This week's Idol prompts are up, and they're not doing a thing for me. They seem to be pointing me toward preachy stuff that I have no interest in writing. Any ideas? Prompts are:
