“Man, we have got to get you laid,” Dean says in awe. Sam’s blush goes right up to the tips of his ears.

I volunteer you for the job Dean!

Sam huffs against Dean’s neck, which is just a little too much sensation right there, but Dean shakes it off and focuses on the job at hand.

*melts*

His arm tightens around Dean’s waist as Sam kisses his neck like he could never leave him.

I atually gasped a little right there.

Dean had invested so much of himself in his brother that Sam carried pieces of him everywhere he went.

Best description of their relationship, EVER.

Guh, the whole chapter is like poety *clings*

:D It sank Dean through and through, so I'm glad it caught you too. :)

Best description of their relationship, EVER.
Thank you! You're my hero for saying so. :D

Oh, so happy to hear that. It's actually the major relationship chapter, and yet very few comments. I know-- most people probably save the big sex part for the end, but depends on the story flow for me. Yay you!

Re: Staying IS the only healing that matters... halfshellvenus May 22 2006, 22:31:30 UTC
Oh for goodness sakes. A single tissue? More like a dozen.
*flail* I forgot that the deep, longed-for love can also be moving as well. It's a good ache, but... yes, Kleenex might be the answer.

The following just killed me: "...because Sam alone is responsible for Dean’s mistrustful heart." Truer words were never spoken/written.
I've been sitting on that line (and the rest of chapters 1 and 2) since late December, waiting for this story to be finished. And that line in particular just... it is every part of Dean's dynamic with Sam post-college. Why he pushes away when he needs and wants, why he's so scared to reach for something so necessary in case it may vanish. *sigh* I feel that so deeply for him. :(

From a purely selfish POV I want what Sammy wants, for Dean to be given what he so truly deserves and for him to accept it: Sam's unconditional unwavering boundless love w/o fear it'll dissolve or change.
I want that as well. And I want Sam to be man enough-- try enough-- to hear the things Dean says with actions and his silence ( ... )

From the rules of the hunt (no seperate rooms, no staying at a strange person's home)
I liked that as a nice detail. It would definitely cut down on their money problems, but... they have a lot of "weirdness" to keep hidden. Not to mention the "internal threat" problem, and how often it might be a possibility.

to the way they find each other. Beautiful, so beautiful.
So much emotion and resolution in that part. It's nice to have someone notice. ♥

Amazingly beautiful! Each thought is well-written it oozes off my computer screen and I feel it all. Each emotion is pure and needy and...I've run out of words to describe it all.

“Want a bite?” he asks, holding a forkful out to Sam. It’s chocolate with whipped cream, and Sam reaches out and pulls Dean’s hand in, claiming the offering in one swift movement.

“Mmm.” His eyes close for a moment in enjoyment before releasing Dean and the fork. It is very hard to go wrong with chocolate cream pie, and he’s never had a bad one yet. When his eyes open, Dean is just looking at him.

“Man, we have got to get you laid,” Dean says in awe. Sam’s blush goes right up to the tips of his ears.

This was sexy and sweet and funny all at the same time. "Dean says in awe". OMG I love it.

Dean had invested so much of himself in his brother that Sam carried pieces of him everywhere he went. After all that, whatever made Sam think anyone but him could fill the hole he left when he took so much of Dean away?

Feeling it as if it were you is some of the best feedback I ever get. That's my goal-- to make you feel somehow part of the story.

And can't you just see it? Poor Sam never even saw that one coming.

That part you mentioned is one of the key parts of this entire story, so Wibbledom is the perfect place to be. :)

Thank you, mf!

Hello I hope you don't mind but I googled supernatural slash and it lead to this story and I LOVE it, this is an amazing piece of writing!

“Nothing?” Sam tries. I can hear him say that!

Each kiss drives his apology home deeper, each sweep of his hands over Dean’s forehead, cheeks, shoulders, neck says it louder: I see how selflessly you loved me. I’m sorry I didn’t know it sooner. Beautiful, just beautiful!

:D No-one ever minds you reading their fanfiction, especially if you enjoy it. You Google-masters amaze me (I just traded comments with someone who found an excellent demon for an SN story just by skilled Google phrase choice).

So you glad you liked this. Please, make yourself at home. :)

I write fanfiction myself just in other fandoms, I am VERY new to the whole Supernatural thing, so I count myself very lucky to have come across your fic. My very first taste of Supernatural slash and this well written! *is happy*
