Updates, and Help A Friend
The voting window has opened for both drabble_las and tvnetwork1_las. I'm afraid I see my demise on the horizon for drabble_las. :( Oh, well...
Speaking of Last Author Standing, its moderator could really use some help. Her house is being foreclosed, and she and her mother are raising money for first/last/security deposits on somewhere new and moving expenses. My donation thread is HERE, and others are welcome to make their own offers. ♥
Two nights ago, I had a dream set in college or late in high school, where I had a crowd of people over that included Jared and Jensen, and I was trying to get them to notice each other and how they were obviously made for each other. Except that Jared was too busy trying to impress the girls, and Jensen was mopy and kept wandering off. And he had a slight double chin and was a little soft around the middle (even dream-me was alarmed). Near the end, there was a hedgehog. *scratches head*
Irony: last night, I dreamed I needed to buy size 7 clothes for Christopher, and I was bummed because he was too much of a big boy to wear things like corduroy overalls anymore. I mourned losing the chance to hug his soft, little toddler body in those kinds of clothes. But in fact, after waking up, I now have a really vivid memory of what that DID feel like at the time. And Christopher's 11, so it's been awhile. :0
Our weather has turned to solid rain now, so I'm biking in the garage all week. I've started S4 of Six Feet Under, and now I'm mad at Rico as well as Nate. God, Nate is such a user of women, and I don't understand how he ever gets laid more than once considering how selfish in bed he is. For Lisa... *sigh* I'm glad they cast Lili Taylor in that role, because even with the excess granolisms and some accompanying rigidity, her character was so sweet. Lili is perfect for that kind of role.
Regular TV: 4 episodes behind on Chuck, 3-4 on White Collar, and too many good things on Netflix to keep up with. Why have I not won the lottery yet, so I can retire?
