That shift was such a huge change for him, and he'd lived a very shallow (if creative) life before that. For him to embrace a path so different from what he'd previously had handed to him (and so willingly accepted) raises questions that inspire more digging and attention.

Yinsen was really the soul of that first movie for me, and he worked near-magic in for once making Tony Stark listen to someone else. That he was so quiet a catalyst makes him all the more interesting to me.

I still haven't seen the new Iron Man- it had started moving out of the theaters by the time we got a free weekend and my reluctance had died down, so I'm still in the Rhodey 1.0 zone. :)
