[For Alexis, dated April 3rd] Morning after.

Apr 12, 2011 23:22

Billy woke up in his own bed, feeling as though he'd been run over by a truck.

When he tried remembering the previous night, it was mostly a haze. He remembered various moments, hazy faces, a strange rush of feelings as he thought about various friends he was sure he'd seen. He remembered dancing with someone, Jason's concern, leaving the party, the sheer confusion of his time with Tony on the beach. He rolled over to check the time with a groan that turned into a sharp yelp when a burst of pain enveloped the side of his face -- his ear, in fact, and that's when Billy broke through the haze of the night before, remembering why he'd done any of that in the first place.

He rolled off the bed, not feeling any pain when he half fell onto the floor. Billy didn't have to draw his sheet back far to see a glint of metal, proof that yesterday afternoon hadn't been a crazy dream.

He managed to stumble to the bathroom before he emptied his stomach all over his floor.

It took a little while, but eventually Billy got himself showered and dressed (when he looked at his clock, he blanched when he saw he hadn't woken up until 1pm) and upstairs, searching for something. Food didn't sound like a good idea, but coffee did.

After coffee, he wasn't sure what he was going to do. He needed Alexis, definitely, but he couldn't bring himself to go find her just yet.
