Finales: Bones, Moonlight, SPN
first, SPN of course. i was a bit disappointed. it was a letdown after a fantastic season. (finale talk under cut) i know that Dean had to go to Hell. i know that they had to do this and not have some quick fix b/c the quick would have cheated us all. i just didn't think it was the strongest finale to date. i suspect the pacing of the last few eppys is a direct effect of the writers strike. *sigh*
Moonlight was canceled. why? i get that it was cheese-tastic and not the best written or acted but come on, everything can't be LOST or Heroes or BSG or Bones. :) i adored the conflicted Mick and the bad boy Josef best friend. i will miss this show. (finale talk) the whole cult thing was a bit meh for me, but i LOVED how they wrapped it up in the end. now we can pretend that they live happily ever after. i just wish we could have gotten a bit more of everyone's story. now we never will.
BONES...was the bomb tonight. seriously LOVING Boreanaz more each season of this show. Boreanz's comedic timing is amazing. (finale talk) the whole bit with the bathtub, hat and comic...OMG i about fell out of my chair laughing. and then they had him with a rubber ducky. gah!
i was with cheribomb on her spec as to who Gormaggon would be but of course i was wrong and very shocked. i never saw it ever being Zack. ever. i hope that he gets to come back at some point b/c i liked his dynamic with Hodgins. i am going to MISS him.
OTOH it will be interesting to see what kind of character they bring in now that he is gone. i had a hard time liking Camille but now she is a perfect part of the team. i hope they are able to find another suitable character. sadness/shock aside, i cannot wait for the screencaps to come out for this eppy. the first part that i hid behind the LJ cut....all i could think of was a revised version of the header on cheribomb's LJ. you know with the hat and ducky. bwahahaha.
oh and House made me cry. i don't watch House regularly, but i left it on while i typed this up...though i have to admit that i was thinking about inlaterdays and her slash goggles. is it bad that in light of all the tragedy on House all i could think of was now there is nothing to stand in the way of Wilson/House slash. yes, those goggles never do come off. LOL
Germany pics are still not online. RL has kept me too busy. but i am making an effort to keep up with LJ b/c i miss everyone when i don't get to see what everyone is up to.
