I'm...really not sure. Followed someone I met when I arrived here.

What's the easiest way to navigate this place? Any landmarks I could use to find the library?

Well, the streets are numbered... but it's confusing since the north-south streets are numbered avenues and the east-west streets are numbered streets. But the library is at West 40th St and 5th Ave, near Bryant Park. If you see a street called Avenue of the Americas you can follow that too.
