Now that Jaime was here, Tyrion didn't much like letting him out of his sight. In part, this was because Tyrion had missed him; it was also because he wasn't sure he liked what his brother might do if confronted by Deenerys and left completely to his own devices. Still, he could hardly follow Jaime around all day, comforting as he might find it.
He shooed the knight off to do some exploring and set himself up in his office for any parents or other guests who might want to know what his students were learning, a pile of papers in front of him in case work samples were called for.
