(no subject)
Turns out I can still speak french. Which is good.
For the past two days there were 4 french people visiting. They were nice. We got to do mother of pearl crafts on rocks. Mines a turtle. I also went to the the big temple in town, thats a national heritage site. It was my first time, and no-one could beleive it. I had cake like 3 times in a 24 hour period! ramble. I talked to my exchange counseller guy for a bit. I realized how good his english is the other day. He's crazy good. He told me that me next host family might not be in the same town... It's a big town too... My school is in Fushiki(10-20 km north of the takaoka) my next house is in Oyabe(30-40 km south of takaoka). That stuff is crazy.
Tomorrow I'm going to go cherry blossoming. ill post sweet piczors. School starts monday for me, same day I move.
To(aka want to before I leave) buy list;
teeny tiny camara
laptop(and i can use my tablet again!)
Jeans(this ones a more need to, as I have 4 pairs of jeans two are 3 years old|and 1 needs to go|, another 2 |should go|, the fourth is fine)

Which brings me to my next point(really 2). why the hell do I want all this(one down). and why are MP3s so small these days. Kids these days complain about how big anything bigger then a nano is. If you can see it in your pocket(You're screwed it it wont slid in your pocket) is a tumor inducing monster. Does anyone remeber actually carrying a tape walkman around with them. One big enough that you can't even clip it on your pants without them being pulled down an inch. I've been "lugging" a CD player for about 3 monthes, and it's not that bad. The only reason I want an MP3 is to consolidate my library(or what I have left of one). I can put the cd player in my pocket, in my backpack, on my belt, it fits, it stays, it works. end of story.
and whilest we speak of music. I'm seeing Polysics in 2 weeks. I dont care how great you think the bands you'll see are. I win. I'm seeing Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra a month later.
