Arriving in New York and on Campus.
It's already so late, and I'm already so tired... but I promised to post and let everyone know that I got here safely. And to begin, I've never seen so many people in an airport this late! I was truly amazed at that! I know Tokyo is big and that people are there this late, I've never seen so many people in one space at one time of night. Truly amazing...
On the ride over to campus I grew bored really quick, I couldn't read the book I hadn't gotten to finish on the plane, and I couldn't call Eiji. It's already so late.. I didn't want to wake him up. I'm really anxious to see everyone who accepted the invitation! I can't wait!
Well, I'm overall settled into my new dorm room. I'm sharing this dorm with Shishido-san, which will only prove to be interesting. I left a message for Eiji, since I'm sure he's gone to sleep by now. And I don't think I'll be able to get to sleep very well tonight... I'm still so nervous and excited from the trip over. It's really strange to think of myself being so far from my natural home of Japan...
Anyway, I'm going to try going to sleep. It's going to be fairly difficult considering I don't have the humming of my fishtank and my regular bed to sleep in, but I'm hoping to adjust in due time. This is a really long entry, considering how tired I am! Tomorrow will be better, I'm sure! And I'll get lots of sleep tonight because I didn't get to sleep on the plane, I was too busy reading the books I brought.
