I enrolled in
Golden Gate University's graduate program under open enrollment on Tuesday.
Classes start Monday D:
It all started when I finally began looking at how to get my CPA license. I passed all of the exams and finally hit my two-year mark as of August 20 (yay~) - now all I needed to do was get the shiny paper to frame.
Turns out, I don't exactly have enough units (hours) from school to qualify under "Pathway 2". Long story short, taking 9 more units will make it easier to transfer my CPA license to any other state, should I move. And who knows what I'll be doing 10, 20, 30 years later in life.
The same day I find out that my firm is mandating us to take 5 courses under the Masters of Taxation graduate program over the next 3-4 years. 100% covered!
While my 9 units doesn't have to be accounting related - I could take BASKET WEAVING - I might as kill two birds with one stone.
You know, figuratively.
I'll still be working full time, whatever that ends up being. For this week it meant 70 hrs :\ I'm praying that after September 15 I can go home while there's still light out.
[ETA] I'll be taking one class (Research), so it shouldn't kill me. I hope. ^^;
