Espresso Chocolate Chip Shortbread
I was halving a recipe that called for 8 oz. of butter D:
4 oz. still seemed like a lot, so I only put 2/3 of a stick in.
Unfortunately, given the fact that there were no other wet ingredients, the batter wouldn't come together at all...
so I ended up adding the remaining 1/3 =___=
Definitely no need to worry about them sticking to the cookie sheet!
Finished product!
The shortbread was a little dry, but still tasty. It might turn out better when I do the full-blown recipe, but for now I just wanted to do a little experimenting :3
Awesome awesome stuff:
- Spent the evening of the 4th at sherizzle913's with the cousins! BBQing and K-popping and watching fireworks from DC to NY = TONS of fun but I still smell like meat.
- In addition to MBC D, I get KBS World on TV now. WITH SUBS \o/ 1N2D and Music Bank and lakjsdf yay.
- Done a bit too much clothes shopping lately but they has shipped and I cannot wait *___*
Not awesome stuff:
- It is Sunday. Meaning, tomorrow is Monday and back to work I go DX
- Got a nasty cut from BBQing D: Not quite sure how, but I hope a tetanus shot is not needed...
