And so is the movie. So much love for Dev Patel in Slumdog Millionaire. The movie is violent at times, it was sad but I wasn't quite brought to tears (THANKFULLY), I suddenly strongly dislike Regis Philbin, and want to do a massive group dance in the streets \o/ It got a 94% rating on rottentomatoes, so that's gotta say something. Plus, little!Jamal is the cutest boy ever D:



Dev as Zuko in Avatar is going to be interesting, to say the least. But Dev >>>>> Jesse McCartney ANYWAY.

BIRTHDAY RAMBLES!! AND PICTURES!

• On Thursday, went to a group lunch at Café Bastille on Belden Place. The people reserved the entire downstairs for us, but we were only a party of 8! That was super nice. The food was good (a little salty, though) but the service was fine. Definitely want to check out the other places along here next time.
  
  
• On Friday, surprised with some cards and treats from co-workers ^^ Went to a lunch with new!Coach and old!Coach at Osha! It was pretty fun, though I reckon we spent the entire hour venting about work and talking about chickens XD; Was surprised old!Coach remembered it was my birthday and new!Coach took care of the bill XDDDDDDD
  
  
• Came back from lunch, and co-workers bought a slice of raspberry cake from Cafe Madeline ♥
  
  
  
  Raspberry is only my favorite flavor ever. Except the co-worker who went to pick it up was looking for mango...
  
  
• ... but when I got home, my parents got me a mango strawberry ICE CREAM CAKE from Polly Ann \o/ SO GOOD.

• after12am sent over a fabulous package of lovely, rabbitattack made me 239046895 amaaaazing phone charms, anko got me TOFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU (!), and I got super comments and texts from friends~ THANK YOU ALL.
  
  
• As mentioned earlier, I went to see Slumdog Millionaire with rabbitattack and anko. The last movie I saw was The Dark Knight - sooooooo it's been a while XD It was most excellent, though. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It's been pretty good, even though I am so old XD; I think I'm falling further under the weather, as I lost my voice for a bit this evening, after dinner o_________o;
