Last Thursday (July 3), our office took the summer interns around San Francisco on a trolley. Unfortunately it was one of those used-to-be-a-cable-car-but-now-is-motorized sort of deals :\ HOWEVER, it was loads of fun :)
Twin Peaks View of downtown. I work in one of them high buildings.
The clouds were gorgeous, they looked like a giant wave!
Painted Ladies a.k.a. OMG THE
FULL HOUSE HOUSE.
Not sure if we even saw the right one, but we were on the right hill :)
On the way back all of us tried to figure out the theme song. We had a pretty good group going!
f.k.a. Cable Car HYDE! xD
The Palace of Fine Arts We were supposed to eat on
Crissy Field then drive across
The Golden Gate Bridge, but it was too foggy.
Other areas around SF were beautiful - it was a great day for pictures!
I barely adjusted any of the ones posted above, so you can tell the colors were naturally extra vibrant :)
We also drove around
Haight & Ashbury, down crazy hills (
Lombard Street), saw the
Mrs. Doubtfire house (!!!!) and generally enjoyed the city.
I really want to go around San Francisco as a "Tourist for the Day" - it'd be so great. Since I grew up here, I've neglected all the amazing local places. I need to explore the city before it's too late and I'm too old!
