San Bernardino's Court System has an amazing amount of faith in the USPS
They sent me my notice with my appear date of 2/11 postmarked on 2/10
yesterday i called and all i got was a busy signal. today i got a phone tree which really made me wonder what the busy signal was about
the first number just tells you to call another number if you're calling about traffic issues
there i get asked if i want to get an extension
i'm asked to enter in my citation number which is something like V1234567A
they give me a set of choices:
If your Citation Number begins with a single letter press one
If your Citation Number begins with two letters press two
If your Citation Number ends with two letters press three
If your Citation Number begins with three letters press four
It goes on, somehow, but theres no match for "begins with a letter and ends with a letter"
So i pick the first one. No match.
I then bounce around the entire phone tree trying to get something that will transfer to a human. I try pushing nothing. It repeats itself over and over until i get a thank you and it hangs up
So i call back the first number. and play the same stunt. On not pushing anything it says "please wait one moment while we transfer you to an attendant"
Then i get a message that says "you have tried a number that does not exist" or something like that.
I swear, it's like i'm dealing with some sort of sham company that's all a front.
