the voices in my head
Every once in awhile, i hear these voices. It's a very low volume thing. Always about the same volume and frequency. I can't, at all, make out what's being said. And it sounds very monotone.
Like if someone had the weather channel playing somewhere in the office.
Since i assume it's not that, i'm guessing it's someone listening to a conference call presentation on speaker phone or something.
But the volume and frequency and lack of dynamics (aka monotoneness) just makes me totally edgy, and it takes me a bit to figure out why.
Shutting the door does nothing to dampen the noise so it must be coming through the air ducts.
It does make it so i can turn my speakers up though to counter it. (And send that through the air ducts.)
