So, Roddick lost. Not only did he lose, he lost bad, bad as in it was a tight match and he had a lot of chances. He won the first set and then he just...lost. I watched the match in real time - crazy, I know! - and got was I dissappointed. EPSN 2 is playing the tape delay (at a much decent time, of course) and I'm getting all riled up already. God! This was his chance to win his second major and he blew it. Thankfully, it's not the end of the world. There will be more majors and there will be more wins. But really, Federer lost. This was his shot at the Australian Open. Speaking about Federer, though. My brother and I have a theory: Everytime Federer loses, Andy loses. It has happend a lot. Maybe they're just meant to play each other. And I'd be fine with that if Roddick won. *G* I still love him! After Pete Sampras, who I adore/love/worship, he is my favorite tennis player.
Anyway, on a positive note, I got to see two very hot men pour their hearts out in a tennis court. They also lifted their shirts up many times for those wonderful ab shots. Yum. Now I find myself rotting for Martin Safin, another very hot player. And I'm in a bind for the women's final, but I think I'll ultimately root for Serena. I'm waiting for the day, hopefully soon, that Venus gets back to form and they're once again a gruesome twosome.
