Like it says in the subject heading old (as in year 2000) but still interesting. According to
this article, and as reported by a spanish news radio commentator here in Miami where I first heard the little tid bit, the results of the upcoming Washington Redskins game may predict the outcome of the election. If the article were to hold true it basically says that a Redskins win results in a Republican win and vice versa if they lose. Lets compare and contrast a little:
Redskins: Lavar Arrington, Mark Brunell, Lavernaues Coles, Clinton Portis and a 2-4 record.
Packers: Ahman Green and, ya know, Brett Farve. Their record is 3-4.
Who's the better team. Packers. Who will win? There's an obvious choice but who knows. Will the results indeed predict the election outcome? *shrugs* There's always exceptions.
Anyway, moving on to baseball and the soon to be crowned World Series Champions Boston Redsox - congrats to them and their loyal fans! They haven't won yet, but it's almost a given at this point. Even though I was going for St. Louis, them being from the National League and all, I'm not heartbroken or anything; they're not my team after all. But, regardless, the Cardinals did not play the baseball they usually do. Such a stellar lineup and nothing to show for it. Boston was the better team in the end. I'm sure things would be different had Houston made the world series, but I digress. So, anyway, congrats to Boston. Lets hope I didn't jinx them or anything.
Night.
