American Idol

This is going to be a good season.

- Latoya London: It was okay. For some reason, unlike the judges, I didn't think it was out of this world. She won't lose, of course, because her voice is just that good. I wasn't that amazed, though. *shrugs*

-Amy Adams: Blah. She has a good voice. I don't think the song choice was right for her. I agree with Simon - boring. Why the hate people? Simon is always right!

-Matthew Rogers: No matter how likeable Matt is he won't last, but what do I know. I still think his best performance was in the auditions. Presidential package...BWAH! Simon kills me.

-Camile Velasco: Dude, she snores like nobody's business! Anyway... I love Son of a Preacher Man! Love it. She sang well, but I agree with Simon - she needs to have more confidence. We'll see her next week.

-Jon Peter Lewis: I think all the jumping around took away from the performance. Yeah. He does have a good voice. I think he's the Josh Gracin of this season. Everyone loves him, so he'll make it far. What is it with Paula and "America loves you" ?

-Fantasia Barrino: By far my favorite performance. Perfect song, perfect voice, perfect everything. And her daughter was adorable! If Simon had said anything other than what he did I would have sadly lost some love for him. Good thing he's sane today. *g*

-George Huff: He's like the Rickey Smith of this season, personality wise at least. Bubbly, bubbly, bubbly. I'm not much for bubbly, which is why Amy Adams annoys me, but George I can learn to love. Moving along... He has a much better voice then Rickey and sang wonderfully today. The judges were on spot about him.

-Jennifer Hudson: She did a fantastic job. Great song, great attitude to go with the song. Just great. I didn't much like her in the auditions but she did amazing today. I don't agree with Simon but I'll forgive him this time.

-John Stevens: The boy is TALL! Ya know, he's good, has a great voice, and I agree with Simon and Paula. What? Simon and Paula agreed?! *gasp* He IS bringing something different and if he worked on his personality on stage a little more I think he will go far.

-Leah LaBelle: I didn't like her performance. There was nothing special about it. It was...simple. Simon - ouch! I agree.

-Jasmine Trias: She is just too cute! Who wouldn't liker her? Beside (Or is it besides? No, really, which one is it? *g*) that, she has a great voice. Her performance was stellar. It wasn't my favorite (sometimes I think Paula goes a little overboard - to each its own) but it was so very good.

-Diana DeGarmo: Very upbeat performace. Huge voice. Huge! Where was my talent at this age? She won't be leaving tomorrow that's for sure.

Top two with the least votes (imo): Leah LaBelle and Matthew Rogers. Who leaves: Leah LaBelle. I suck at these. I'm always wrong.

Simon was well-behaved but with all those fantastic voices even he couldn't complain...much.

I think the competition is going to be stiff this season. So much talent... Only one can win.

Also, GIP! Thanks to urdreamlover for the icon. Hee.
