I'm sorry I post so much. I have two weeks at home with nothing to do but write my thesis, so it's not going to get better any time soon. Sorry

FAVOURITE EVER. I might actually be more excited about Schuftan's thoughts on the Killjoys video (and the fact that he is watching it on repeat like all the other obsessed fans yay) than I was about seeing the video on the first place.
it's kind of like the KillJoys merge everything schuftan has ever been nerdy about; the 80s, ridiculous protest!art movements (mostly the ones he covers in Culture Club) and then you know, ~emo.
It's like the ultimate follow up to Culture Club/Hey!Neitzsche! because it combines both themes, and then expands them. I want to know his opinions. So much.
It's like they came up with an album concept specifically in order to be everything he loves. Ugh, and it's just so perfect for him, too. I'm struggling not to just sit right down with Culture Club and Hey! Nietzsche! and my philosophy and poetry books and try to figure out what Schuftan's going to talk about already. (Have I mentioned that I brought him up in class this semester? YEAH.) And I don't want to get all HE SHOULD WRITE ANOTHER BOOK before the album is even out but, but, 'Art is the Weapon' is just so him.
What's even better is that one of them (I forget who) explained that 'Heavy Metal Cardigan' meant a cardigan with two holes in each pocket so you could make devil horns hand gestures without taking your hands out.
Okay, I lied, I did google that video. but I didn't find anything. You disappoint me, Kisschasey.
So if I wrote a dustverse fic in which Gerard rescues Schuftan from a Draculoid and wonders how this professor-ish looking man has survived in the desert and then realises that the man he just picked up is Schuftronic who does the Culture Club show about the history and philosophy of rock music on the radio when Dr DD is taking a nap, and it turns out he heard Schuftronic gushing about MCR on the radio when Gerard was still in his first week in the desert and it ~inspired him~ to keep going... would you read it? It's about 2000 words, I was late to class today because I was so wrapped up in writing it I forgot to leave.

I would totally have been in for an album called The Giantest Poodle or Heavy Metal Cardigan. COME ON. That's AWESOME.
I suppose Golden Rule is okay too...
You know you want to google that KissChasey video. You totally do.
