Sometimes I think I'm not really a very good guitarist because I'm not great at rock songs and I tend to get impatient with riffs and power chords.
Then I find some classical guitar music.
So there's this Spanish guitar piece called 'Romance' or 'Anonymous Romance' or a bunch of other names in English and Spanish Romance in the title. Bandom folks may know MCR used it on their first album? Found some sheet music for it today and was playing the thing perfectly in ten minutes. Thirty and I might have it by memory. I'm awesome.
Though I would sometimes feel more awesome if I could sit still for long enough to learn a damn rock song. But having kickass classical skills is pretty sweet too.
