A SHAMELESS UN-SELF PROMOTION
Okay, so this is a quick blurb.
Everyone knows that I will only listen to one radio station in my car or NO RADIO AT ALL (just iPod or CDs).
I was taking Elzbeth home tonight and I hear "Don't Bother None" by Mai Yamane. I'm like "my iPod??" NO NO NO! IT WASN'T!!
I PROCEED TO FLIP THE FUCK OUT!! OMG! OMG! OMG! AN ANIME SONG ON THE RADIO! IT'S SUCH A FIRST! (not counting english music put into soundtracks like...Franz Ferdinand's "Do you want to")
So I drop Elzbeth off, all flipping out about the song and singing so hard and wanting to listen to the song again...but as she gets out of the car, OMG OMG! FIONA APPLE'S "ACROSS THE UNIVERSE" COVER??!!! SERIOUSLY??!!! OMG OMG!
So, I put the buzz radio player online onto my computer so i can listen more and see how good their taste is. and i disappear for about 20 mins later...THEN OMG! OPENING THEME TO EFFIN' GHOST IN THE SHELL STAND ALONE COMPLEX ??!!! The male host just about has a nerdgazm about Yoko Kanno and even mentions "great anime director Shinichiro Watanabe"!!!
The show ends with MUSHROOM HUNTING FROM COWBOY BEBOP!!
I am seriously considering ignoring friends so I can listen to this 2 hour show on Wednesdays.. Seriously.
Now i'm going to catch up on homestarrunner.com.
