ohhhh, true, they are both in Miami! I would not have thought of those two together but you really make it work! They are not that different, in their grief, and even if soft and fragile are not the first words I'd use for Juliet, she did seem like it in those flashbacks. I can see how Kevin would be drawn to it.

Yay! So glad you liked this! And yes, the island has changed Juliet so much. That was more or less the seed idea for this, that he's looking for someone who's as different from Kate as can be, but Juliet ends up being even tougher than Kate, in a way.

Poor, abandoned Kevin could have his pick, couldn't he? :)

Yay!! I'm so glad this imaginary intersection worked! I like the idea of them meeting at that moment, when she's so broken and vulnerable, as he would be too, after Kate leaves. The irony being, of course, that she ends up being such a tough, strong, independent woman.

Island!Juliet seems like she'd be the one protecting Kevin, not the other way around.

Oh wow, that was great! You made such perfect sense of the pairing, wow indeed. You wrote him so well, I could totally picture the part at the beginning. It makes so much sense that he couldn't reconcile Kate and Monica for the reasons you had there, he was absolutely believable and IC. As Juliet was and it was indeed neat how they came together. It just flowed so well and

Maybe it's wrong for him to be here, maybe he's taking advantage of her, but she needs this right now, needs him. She seems so fragile, so soft. She couldn't be more different than Monica, and right now, that's what he needs.

This was totally it. Wow. I take it as canon, it just could be. Great work!
