Lisa's kissing men like a long walk home...

When the music stops.

Sooo... yeah. Blah blah blah. What a way to start the new year; Belle & Sebastian and a string of absolute nonsense. That more or less sums me up lately, so lets kick off this years blogging by telling you about what I did yesterday, or er, last year as it were.

You slept better in a sleeping train...

I really didn't want to leave Clare by herself for Christmas, so I set myself up something of a compromise whereby I went to see Becky in Leicester overnight and then took the trains etc. down to Ashford to see Clare. As it turns out, there was loads of snow which made getting the trains difficult and tricky and all of those other words. Luckily Clares mum was willing to give me a lift back from Ashford station which made it a whole lot easier.

As for the time I spent with Clare... yeah, I think it's been okay. I enjoyed quite a lot of it; spending that first night with her with the snow falling, waking up at 6, going downstairs and watching Clare jump around in the snow, staying up all night on New Years Eve/Day and playing Singstar. I love her so much... it feels most of the time like things are getting better between us, which is only a good thing.

She never needed anyone to get around the track...

So, yeah. My hopes for 2006? For it to be happier, more productive, and forward-thinking. I don't have a New Years Resolution yet, except to be not kissed by Dave which so far I have thus avoided. Roll on 2006.
