What would you like to hear? I'm more than willing for a story exchange.

Anything, sir. Really. If you are talking in song though, I am more than partial to dance tunes. Things perhaps you would hear at a festival?

[There is much glee over the response she is getting.]

The very same goes for you, sir. What kind of story would be pleasing?

I'm afraid I've the musical talent of a dying animal. But stories I can hopefully manage.

As for me, I like exciting stories.

[She's smiling a little into the journal. He is so very descriptive with his words!]

Would those stories include dragons and damsels? Lots of action for the heroes?

Of course! The best stories are filled to the brim with danger.

Now who would those heroes be though?

What say to you of dragons?

[The story she's thinking of doesn't quite have a happy ending but it has lots of action!]

Anyone can be a hero, as far as I'm concerned.

As for dragons, well, I've heard many opinions. Some find them to be treasure hoarding, livestock eating monsters, others claim they have a place in the world and are old and wise.

I myself, enjoy hearing stories with shades of grey.

There is little/nothing readily available from D&D land that's an easy quick link for Adventure Time. I be crafting from legendy type stuff but it'll be a fun moment ;) .... likely will tag with something on the morrow... so that's why been going slooooow... :)

Ah then, alright. If I may note, that this likely would have been far more impressive if I still had my illusions...

[Without missing a beat she launches into the retelling of an old tale. ]

Here I will tell the tale of Tiamat, Bahamut and Vorel, the first dragons ( ... )

[ooc: is cool, I'm super familiar with it. Usually why i tend to not tag Wednesdays. Fun fact, killed a priest of Tiamat last session!]

Now see that? That's a good story. Whatever I come up with on the spot will simply pale in comparison. But I will repay you for the tale, I promise.

[ooc: ... DID I DO OKAY WITH IT? D: ..... and I am suppa jealous. XD and lolling at the timing with the death of the priest! WOOT! XD]

I am glad it pleases you, sir.

[And she is, she's beaming. She gets as much enjoyment out of sharing a tale as hearing one.]

[ooc: I liked it very much, yes!]

You've definitely a way with words. Now I must ask what sort of tale you like to hear told, just to get started on remembering a good enough one. Or at very least embellishing a less than good enough one.

sorry I'm late! <3 halfbrokenwings September 2 2011, 20:26:41 UTC
[She pauses, and you get a little hum while she thinks upon your offer.]

A story, of history? A thing that was based in truth, but perhaps told with more flair?

[Those she liked the most. Heroes whose steps could be measured.]
