[When she opened the door and stepped into the hall- her eyes and mind were still partly asleep in bed. She shook her wings and stretched outside of the door. Out of the corner of her eye she caught a most unusual sight. There seemed to be a white film covering one of the unoccupied apartment doors

He's still not sure if she's some strange form of angel or not, and thus unsure if she's a threat or harmless like most of the people here.*

She could not properly greet him, with how her wing was stretched against the webbing, but she did her best!]
Hello! My apologies! I had not caught your name the first time we met but, um, please Sir, I could dearly use a hand.
[Sheepish- they name is Isabella. ]
I've gotten stuck.

*He looks over Isa and the webbing, raising an eyebrow.*
You can't just pull free?

I think I would be able to, if it had not been the crippled wing that got the webbing. It is at such an angle that it hurts if I try.
[Hurts a lot in fact. She points down the hall.]
The large spider, ran off to get me some scissors... I think. But, I do not know for sure, or know if he will be back.
[There's a defeated slump in her shoulders. She tries so hard to avoid situations like this, where she needs to ask for help. ]
Please, sir. If you are able to pull the feathers free of the webbing, I would be eternally grateful.

*That was just odd. He shakes his head, but moves closer and studies the webbing for a moment before trying to pull her feathers off of it. Not very gently, but at least he's helping.*

The appearance of Sollux is unexpected. He inches forward and tosses the scissors at them, letting them land a meter or so away from Sollux's feet. Mission accomplished, Patty zips off down the hall.]

Then she spotted movement out of the corner of her eye and a flash of metal in the hallway. Her spider friend was back! With the prize! She held out her hand- but the spider apparently saw she had company and tossed the scissors and was gone in a flash.]
Thank you!
[She called after him.]
Aw. He ran away.
[She turned to the horned boy. ]
Maybe perhaps, those might help? If you cut the feathers of close to the webbing?

You want me to cut the webs or the feathers?

If you could cut the feathers, it would be easier, I think, than the webbing.
[And would mean she would not have to clean up the mess from the feathers later. ]

*He grabs the scissors from the air (which stops the glowing) and starts cutting away the feathers attached to the webbing. He gets almost all of them before stopping suddenly and jerking backwards.*
Fuck!
*He shakes his hand as a small, black spider--now glowing red and blue--flies at high speed into the closest wall. And then does it again for good measure.*

[She beams a smile at him full of gratitude.
When he jerked, she jumped with him, startled by the motion and his curse. ]
Are you al-
[Oh, that's not good! The little ones bite, though they no longer have to worry about the spider that bit the horned kid.]
-right?

...yeah. It just stung. I'm fine.
*He flexes his hand a bit, then goes back to cutting away the last webbed feathers.*

Thank you so very- OUCH!
[She smushes a large blue spider that had crawled across her foot. The blasted thing had bit her! And... now, it was dead. Never to weave another web, or make more little spiders.
Sollux might her a sniffle, and see a few tears in the corners of her eyes.]
Much. Thank you. [sniffle] Very much, sir.

Yeah, you're welcome.
*He doesn't bother to look up to her right away, though, instead focusing on shaking out his hand a bit. Why did it feel off? That stupid bug?
When she sniffles, however, he looks up. Was she crying?*
Uh. It was nothing. Really.

He was so nice!
Now look at things! A spider bit him for crying out loud!
It was the worst feeling in the world. She felt so guilty. It was all her fault. Everything was.
She cries into his shoulder.]
Imma-r-reallysar-ree.I-Iams-s-sosorry!

*Oh fuck. Now what? Sollux freezes as she embraces him, temporarily distracted from the odd sensation in his hand.*
...I said it was fine. You can let me go.
