::strolls into the kitchen, having been spending a lot of time there since he has nothing else to do, though pauses as he sees Severus, not liking to feel as though he's intruding or anything, knowing he'd be annoyed if strange people kept walking into his kitchen. but hasn't seen anyone but Fai in there - until now.::

No, I just want to get to know the kitchen better. I feel like I enjoy cooking. ::feels awkward beneath Severus' gaze.::

::Follows, looking over the cookbooks. He takes one out--Soups--and starts flipping through it, brow furrowed. He wouldn't know whether or not they looked good... but it was a start. After replacing the book, he nods to the boy, and holds out his hand.::

::It felt awkward to be conversing with someone so much younger... and that short, black hair... and those glasses... they all put him off a little bit. But Severus had no reason to dislike him, and in a new place he thought it would be resourceful to not make enemies at every turn.::

::it seemed most people around Memento Eden were kind, even if just as many were strange. as far as he could tell, not everyone came from the same place, though Kimihiro didn't know how that was possible.::

I'm looking forward to tasting your cooking. ::says somewhat timidly. wonders what it would be like to have a job as a cook for the apartment building, thinking it might be nice - although cooking for so many people is a bit daunting, even just to think about.::

::hopes he didn't offend Severus, but nods as the man promises it won't be a disappointment, supposing it won't. hopes this place, even with all of its quirks, wouldn't hire someone who couldn't cook to cook.::

::averts his eyes rather quickly from Severus' gaze, once again feeling uncomfortable.:: Ah ... were you planning on cooking anything now? I wouldn't want to get into your way, but ... there's not much to do around here and I'd like to stay in here. If it's not too much trouble!

::He looks around the kitchen, rather dully, then back to Kimihiro.:: Shall we make something?

::smiles, uncertain mood leaving quickly.:: I wouldn't mind. ::admits, snatching the nearest cookbook.:: Many of these ingredients don't look too familiar to me. At least, not in the end result. ::studies the casserole on the page.::

I wanted to make maguro zukedon. It's raw tuna and avocado on rice. It'd be nice in this heat. Do you know what that is? It seems some people don't find the same cuisine as I do familiar ... and some people do. ::seems mildly disgruntled about the last part of the sentence, thinking of Shizuka and his annoying (not to mention demanding) appetite.::

::His brow quirks:: Raw tuna? I cannot recall ever having such a dish... I would not mind trying, however.

*wanders into kitchen looking for a snack, spots Kimihiro and Snape*

"Kimi-chan~ ♥ *glomps* You work in the kitchen too~?"

*turns to Snape and is prepared to greet him the same way, but is immediately frightened by the way Snape looks at him. Hides behind Kimihiro.*

::is pleased Severus seems adventurous in the kitchen, hoping to try some of the things he's more familiar with, too.::

::jumps in surprise when Mitsukuni shows up and hugs on him, looking uncomfortable.:: No, I don't ... I was just visiting.

::blinks as Mitsukuni hides behind him. turns, pulling him out from behind him gently.:: Don't worry, this is Severus-san. He's the one who's working here now.
