room 418: tuesday evening

Nathan didn't really understand what had happened this past weekend but he was pretty sure he didn't want it happening again. He was barely secure in his own skin so to be someone else? Not fun. Even if that person hadn't been terrible and he could read (which was just strange to think about when coming back to his illiterate self), Nathan still preferred the person he was.

The only thing that still remained from the weekend were the remnants of the cigarettes he'd rolled in the Magic Box and the memories. Nathan had those supplies out on his desk and was trying to remember how expertly that Freddie kid had rolled the different ingredients. He remembered the labels that Anders (or Albus) had given these and they just sounded like something Gabriel would like smoking while he sat out on his balcony with his sunglasses on.

Nathan felt a pang of sadness at the thought of Gabriel and bowed his head, feeling a little ashamed that Gabriel was still gone and he was still here, still okay. The only problem was Nathan didn't know where to start that wasn't going back and facing the Council. And if he did that, he'd be thrown into a cage until they could make him kill his father.

Something else would have to give. Nathan sighed and pushed that out of his head. Thoughts and things for later.
