Pictures all uploaded (well, almost)
With the exception of the few pictures that need editing, my pictures are all now uploaded.
Here are my favorites:
This is a polar bear in the Bronx Zoo. Seemed like the wrong climate for polar bears to me, but I guess they probably have the water chilled so he gets to cool off that way.
One of my many shots of New York City from the top of the Empire State Building. The view was even better in person than in this picture, much better. I didn't have a tripod with me, so I couldn't really capture night shots to the full effect. Even if I did, I'd have had a hard time capturing it because of all the competition for pictures.
This was on our way out of the Empire State Building. I love the contrast between these street lights and the night here.
Subway action shot! I love how this turned out.
No trip to New York City is complete without a visit to the top of the statue of liberty. That was one amazing statue.
This is probably the best of my airplane night shots. You get a completely different view of the world up there.
I have some other favorites in my album on shutterfly, but I don't have a way to link to those because of how shutterfly sets it up, alas.
