I'm not really wild about how
they blame the iPhone, but I guess that's how it works.
They touched on several good points in there though about how people are using cell phones to isolate themselves from the people around them. I've noticed this quite a lot and it always disturbs me when I see two people who are obviously friends walking side by side and one of them is chatting away on a cell phone. Even worse was the one time I saw someone do this in a restaurant with a friend, that's when you should really be paying attention.
I try not to do this much myself if I can help it, I prefer to make my calls in the privacy of my apartment anyway. I get lost in my thoughts often enough that sometmes my mind isolates me all on its own way. Even then though, I can appreciate the trees and scenary around me, which I wouldn't be doing if I was chatting on a phone.
