She felt the sun streaming in through the windows. How remarkable to feel it now, flooding her with warmth.
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for years to come.
It wasn’t until the gate swung open and the gallows was before her, waiting for her sacrifice, that she understood the gravity of the situation.
She was going to die.
