Tell us about your favorite female friendships! How did they become friends? What do they do to show their love for each other? How far are they willing to go to support their friend? What is is that makes them special?
BtVS: Buffy and Willow are one of my favorite friendships. Willow accepted Buffy and all her slayer stuff and it was clear that meant a lot. Willow even chose her college based on helping Buffy and her mission, and they were there for each other through really tough moments. They both become more and more powerful in complementary ways and their teamwork totally saves the day.
Dollhouse: I love the friendships implied in the Epitaph eps among Echo, Priya, and Adele. They start out as anything but friends, but they all have to learn to be more than what they started as.
Leverage: I love Sophie and Parker's friendship - it's mentorship but it's more. One of my favorite moments in the show was when, to outsmart Sterling, Sophie decided to think like Parker and jump off the building. I also really love that Sophie and Maggie were able to develop a respect and friendship with each other too.
Agents of SHIELD: Melinda and Skye, Skye and Jemma. Different friendships but both lovely.
Arrow: Sara and Felicity, Sara and Sin, Thea and Sin, Sara and Laurel (they're sisters but they're also friends so I think it counts)
Dark Angel: Max and Original Cindy. Two badass women, always there for each other, in a post-apocalyptic world where almost everyone is in it for only themselves.
Firefly: ALL OF THE FRIENDSHIPS but especially the Kaylee ones since she was the one who seemed to reach out to the others the most: Inara and Kaylee, Kaylee and River, Kaylee and Zoe, Zoe and River.
Once Upon a Time: Emma and Regina, Snow and Regina, Snow and Ruby, Elsa and Emma
Veronica Mars: Veronica and Lilly, Veronica and Mac
Deception: Joanna and Vivian (I'm the only who watched this show, but it was really good!)
The Unit: Kim, Molly, and Tiffy.
The Bletchley Circle: All of the friendships, but probably Millie and Susan's the most.
Iron Man: Pepper and Maya - okay they weren't friends but they would have been if things had gone differently.
