BBC's Restless
I recced this out to my flist not that long ago, and was suddenly reminded that I ought to put it up here, as well.
The plot: woman in the 70's discovers her mother worked for the British Propaganda Office during WWII (which is sort of spying, and probably filled with danger and papercuts), and had some close calls with spy-types. Along the way is new danger, predictable romance, and death.
Also, costume porn and spyyy shenanigans and Eva was totally a teacher at St. Trinian's, once, to help make ends meet.
(ngl, if they made a series about Eva's adventures in propaganda, I'd watch it)
