Last year I decided to catch up on Gossip Girl after having dropped it mid-season three. I was deeply unsettled by how a lot of the stories in season three had played out after I left, especially Jenny Humphrey's story arc. I spent a couple weeks thinking about it, then a couple days writing nine thousand words of meta.
