For Half A Moon last year, I wrote enthusiastically about Tominaga Sei, the heroine of the manga Kaze Hikaru. This year, I'm going to showcase the other women of Kaze Hikaru: the supporting characters and minor characters who nevertheless have a lot of personality and a lot of heart.

[Just so you're not disappointed, note that most of the characters in this cast rundown are minor or supporting characters who appear in only one or two volumes. The two major recurring female characters are Sei (♥!) and Akesato.]

Nope, all of them appear in or before vol. 18. Don't feel bad, though; I sat down with all my volumes and skimmed through them to refresh my memory in order to make this. I wouldn't have been able to recall everyone off the top of my head, either!

I agree with your observations 100%. They're some of the reasons why I just love this manga.

On a side note, I'd like to make a comment about Oume. Hishiya wasn't her husband; she was his mistress. :)

I really love this manga, but its sad that it got licensed. ):
You seem to know more about the manga, maybe its because when you read it, the mangas aren't so missed up.
What I mean is that, many of the chapters are deleted, so its like unbalanced when I read it.
