For the most part, Margot didn't mind her roommate. One was easier to avoid than the half-dozen she'd had to deal with at any one time in the crash room. Sally did love when a woman had a taste and an eye for alcohol. And really, when the going got tough, the tough got drunk. Her Aunt had shed light on that true secret years ago and now, Sally can't imagine the proverb any other way. "Vile, but strong is how I like my men, why not my alcohol," she commented with mild self-disgust. "Here, give it here," she encouraged.

Margot allowed herself the twitch of a smile. "Me too, sometimes," she said. She set down the glasses, filled both to the very top and handed one to Sally.

"To men," she said as she picked up her own glass.

Sally grimaced as she lifted her glass and gave Margot a pleading look. "Can't we drink to forget men?" she asked with a long-suffering sigh. "It's not like I knew any amazing, incredible, absolutely perfect Mr. Rights back home. They're not lining up here," she added, taking back a hard swig of the alcohol. "Well, they are. But they're all gay and only care about my complexion."

The only Mr. Right Margot had back home was her brother, Richie, but she didn't say so.

"Or," she said, after taking a swig of her own, "they're insane." She wondered how Walter - Rorschach - was doing. She'd have to visit him at some point soon.
