Maybe it fits how I might feel about some people or relationships but I hope it doesn't fit the way my entire month will go, that's just...I mean, don't we all have those moments where we think "screw you"? I just don't think I'm like that all the time.

You always ask the most...amazing questions.

Answer? In the short term? Maybe. Probably, even. Depending on the girl. Long term? I just don't see it. I always picture myself with a guy. With guys there is always, always a physical attraction. With girls? It's personality. Not that I don't click with guys on a personality level, I do. It's just that with women, I don't really feel that same physical want.

Taken me a long time to think up a question for you...

When/If you have your own child - what would you keep the same as the way your parents raised you and what would you change?

(Douchey question, sorry. Is a hard meme.)

I'm not really sure I'd change anything about the way we were raised.

OK. That was a bad question then. I'll try and think of something else.

OK - this is my rephrasing for whenever you have time!

What was the greatest thing about the way your parents raised you? What do you appreciate most?

All you are to me is dead skin,
flaking off my hand onto the pavement.

Hrm. That's a neat line.

And I don't know what to ask you....

It seems pretty...cold and uncaring to me.

You don't have to ask me anything if you don't want to. I do keep meaning to ask you if you want to go out some time though.

I agree, I still sort of like it though. Does that make me weird?

I know I don't have to but I'd like to know more about you Peter. Urmmm...urmmm....oh I know!
What's your favorite animal?

I don't think it makes you weird. I like a lot of music with questionable lyrics.

Um...cows are tasty?

What do you most worry about?

Most?

That it will never get easier.

If you knew it wouldn't, would you stop worrying?

I'm sorry.

I...don't know. Probably. And end up on some serious anti-depressants.

Thanks, Alan.

Hi Peter! How was your weekend, sweetie?

That wasn't actually my question. My real question is: do you remember the first time you went to a Breaker Street gig, and if so, when and where was it?

Weekend was good.

Mmm...couple years ago. Some friends insisted on dragging me out to Mother's. It wasn't that long after Jimmy died. I refused to let them turn it into a belated birthday thing and intentionally sat near the stage so conversation was impossible.

Oh, hon. Guess it would be understandable if your mind wasn't really on the music, then.

I asked because it just seems strange to think about you in the audience and us not knowing you were there.

I didn't say I didn't like what I heard. I did come back to see you again. And again. And...

So for what it's worth, you made an impression even if I didn't.
