(no subject)
Seems I have business to do in London next week. I can't predict the duration of my stay. Ideally it will be for just one day, but the problem I'm facing is news, so I'm not sure. See, there's this staircase in a building I worked on. It's supposed to take you to a different room when you use it the correct way and you are, you know, no stray Muggle. Pretty much the standard issue, you would say, but the client says sometimes it doesn't work. She's tired of running the stairs up and down several times in order to get there and wants me to fix it. Perfectly understandable, only I can make nothing of it and I'm not convinced it is my fault either.
On the plus side, at least I didn't install a platform 9 3/4 sort of design there. On the minus side, it was really a bad idea to say so to the client. Must have been my wounded pride speaking. Usually I'm smarter than that.
Be that as it may, I might just as well use the opportunity to experiment some more with that being sociable thing, if anyone is up for it. After all, Marcus visit last week was fun. Even though I was severely disappointed that there were only two skulls of St Mungo in the collection we visited.
I bet the Magical Arts Museum has dozens.
