WORLD: BROWN'S POLITICAL CAREER MAY HAVE BEEN KILLED OFF IN ACCIDENT DURING RESHUFFLE.

The 58-year-old Prime Minister’s career was discovered yesterday hanging in a cabinet (reshuffle) somewhere on Whitehall. His colleagues, however, contested media reports that his resignation had been tendered.
Police said today that Brown, also star of Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath, was found with a political noose tied around his pride and another around his neck. A police chief said it was unclear whether Brown had resigned, been “gently persuaded” or pushed. He was found by a maid.
Among the many theories emerging there had been suggestions that the Prime Minister had been the victim of foul play or that he had met his end by playing a dangerous and deviant game.
Tributes were paid to the 58-year-old star who rose to fame as Trade & Industry spokesman in the mid-80s, and latterly found a new generation of “fans” during his time as Chancellor of the Exchequer.
Brown had appeared in many elections, by-elections and Question Times over the years and worked with former Prime Minister Tony Blair who said: “I am deeply saddened. I have fond memories of our time together.”

Whatever, happened, I think this man deserves dignity. This will bring nothing but shame and embarrassment to his memory and to his family. Do the public REALLY need to know this? And I don't think some of the comments - such as Peter from Bradford's spectacle pun - already published on this are anything but insensitive and childish. Would any of us want jokes made about our demise, no matter what the circumstances?
