The last week has been pretty good. Got my first paycheck from the new job, had a few days where I was entirely on my own at it, and managed to squeeze in some fun.
Friday I went out on a date with a girl from the CCRC and that went very well. After dinner we went to a rockin party for science folks at the CCRC and other departments and I met a lot of really cool people. The house was crazy nice, designed by a quirky german architect back in the 70s.
Got a few drinks for Hannah's birthday tonight and then caught We Vs. The Shark at the "secret" concert venue.
All in all, a good start of new things - and yet, still a sense of longing for something more.
