Haha I appreciated the TL;DR on the other post too, I am in the process of forming a coherent response to it after having just woken up.

To be honest, that's probably the image I like most so far, too. I've been planning this chapter (the full part and this little end of act bridge thing) since pretty much day one. I kind of just really like the thought of him being so goddamn resentful of the world and fed up with everything that after awhile he'd start doing things like this just out of spite (also I enjoy being referential way too much and liked the callback between this and Karkat accidentally setting off the doomsday virus in canon. You are the doom delivery mechanism, Karkat, it is you.) But yeah point being I love Sollux and I have enjoyed trying to make you give a fuck about him.

As for Gamzee, I am pretty excited for that part too but unfortunately first we get a.) a short intermission (like, one chapter short) and then b.) several flashback to the troll!kids' session chapters. I guess everyone will just have to wait.

Also: Jesus Christ, literally nothing in the world would make me happier than receiving art from you. idk why but this chapter prompted a flood of fanart offers, but I think this and the person who is doing me an actual goddamn painting are my favorite. ...And the person who is doing me cover art and sprite edits. And... all of them, actually, oh god.

...I think the point I was making here is you don't know me but I love you and I think I might actually expire of happiness if you did me arts. Also that we should be friends, I have been telling urban_anchorite this for like weeks and not actually doing anything about it.

...excuse me, I just had to go lay down for a moment. I believe I may have suffered a slight case of the vapors which is ridiculous because I am not even a Southern gentlewoman. My skirts are not nearly poofy enough for that.

I would be thrilled to offer any clarification necessary on character designs, yes. What do you need cleared up?

EDITED TO ADD: and when/if this ever happens, would you mind if I embedded the theoretical flash in this post somewhere? (And probably the eventual AO3 release too, if AO3 will even let me do that?)

Okay I shouldn't have gotten you excited because I have absolutely no clue how to use flash, so what you will be getting is either a sequence of images set to music made in windows moviemaker or like, an animated gif or three.

But whatever I end up making, feel free to embed it! I probably won't start on it until I finish this inexplicably monstrous chapter of Cities in Dust.
