Okay so. I probably need to think about things and form a more coherent comment on the morrow. But. I'm just going now anyhow. First off I looked at the comment already here and I see I'm not insane and not the ONLY ONE noticing that John (and I kind of noticed Jade a little bit too? but not in the exact number like John so IDK) is doing drawn-out words in a very familiar fashion. -eyebrow wiggle- I am suspicious but I am patient since you're pumping this story out like no OTHER. (I applaud you. Look at my applause)
Second I just... love this fic. This fandom is full of CRAZY TALENTED PEOPLE are you are certainly one of them. <3 Man. I just love how you write everything. I usually have to read it more than once to pick everything out - I just sat down the past two days and reread the entire fic, so. That was pretty helpful. There's so much I didn't pick out the first time through!! Just. Damn. How do you DO IT and will you share??
Also expect fanart from me? I've had two in planning for ages. One is gonna be practice for my more detailed pencil sketching that I never do and I won't really say much about that, but I will tell you I am planning on doing a painting as I have for days now. And I will tell you the title of said painting...

First off, thank you so, so much for all your nice comments and speculation and enjoyment of this fic. It makes me happy that I have fans who take the time to pick out all the subtle, hidden stuff I snuck in here, since that was kind of the main point of this fic as a writing exercise, to see how many foreshadowing elements I could put in without making it too obvious or obtuse and such. I have no idea how I do it, to be honest! My process usually involves a lot of sitting and thinking and meditating and drawing connections and then plotting, which is why I keep having month long hiatuses waiting for things to kind of settle and gel in my mind.
And yes John's connection to Vriska will be explained eventually. We are getting there! Slowly but surely! I have no plans to abandon it any time soon, for sure.
Re: fanart-- You have no idea how honored I am, and how giddy and happy that makes me. I am looking forward to both of these projects with bated breath, especially the painting, holy shit. You cannot possibly imagine the depth of my enthusiasm and excitement for this, for serious. ♥♥♥ It's people like you who keep me dedicated to finishing this silly thing.

Man I wish I could write a SHADOW as good as you, haha. All these subtle little things! I mean I had to have a friends break down how to build a plot yesterday cause I was just derping around like a dunghead. Man. I should probably think more and OMFG RUSH less. I just get too excited and before you know it I'm putting in the organs before I have a skeleton to support them. Tch.
The new part with Vriska made me squeak a lot and omfg I don't even know whose point of view it was from and I have a theory and auugghh squeaksqueaksquueeaaakkkk~ <3
Re: Re: fanart - I was HOPING to have at least the sketchwork done by now but getting ready for my trip took more than I thought! So it'll probably be two weeks, unless my friend's scanner was fixed. If it was I might be able to get that one to you soonish! I couldn't bring my paintset but I'll be sure to figure out what exactly I'm doing so I can sit down and do that one the first week of June. I'm excited to get working on it, though if it's anything like my other paintings it'll be like half an inch of paint layers and like six drained tubes of color before I'm satisfied. Ah well, all worth it for a good result! If only my scanner didn't futz with acrylics so bad.. if you like it enough when I'm done I can try to find a big-size envelope to mail it to you as well if you'd like. My friend told me yesterday that my acrylics look 10x better in person than after scanned, haha.
