RS: EXAMINE YOUR LIFE, EXAMINE YOUR CHOICES

So, my computer is still out of commission. Because of that I only wind up checking fandom_secrets  a day after the last post was relevant, which spurs some... odd fits of impotent rage/sadness/irritation. The 4/20 secret post was absolutely RIFE with bitchy secrets related to people posting unanon on kink memes, by which I mean there were two of them, and I was ( Read more... )

I apparently had way more to say than I thought. doctorv April 23 2011, 05:04:12 UTC
Personally, I do most fills deanoned (not many, yet, but I also haven't made many requests and I am currently working on some) because it's easier for me to keep track of them. See, I hit the LIMIT on tracking comments (because of kinkmemes in previous fandoms) and I'm having to go through about a thousand tracks and delete defunct ones. Because I'm lazy, I only do a couple at a time. Then I start tracking new stuff and hit my limit again and have to delete s'more and--Well, it's just really a pain in the ass to not only do a fill but also make sure I have a free tracking slot so I can make sure I get the responses.

Also, I'm too fucking lazy to load pics to tinyurl or whatever, so I just load them here. (Though I'll admit in the case of artfills there's an amount of narcissism in effect. I put in a lot of hard work, there, and I want some credit, dammit.) PLUS anon comments don't allow links that you don't have to copy/paste. I hate that.

What I'm saying is, I agree with you and they need to just get the fuck over it. Kink meme =/= srs bizniz. :| Kink meme = HAPPY FUN TIMES OR ELSE, BITCH.
;)

I feel I should add that even when people post anon it's not really anon if they do several fills. Several fills is enough to get a feel for someone's writing style, and if I'm familiar with those other fills and they fill another one? I'll be able to pretty quickly recognize "Ooh, I know that style. They're good. :)" or "Oh fuckdamn, I hope this gets multi-filled, this anon can't spell worth a shit. :/" or even "Oh hey, I recognize this interpretation of alien genitalia! It's fun. :D" (I've even gone so far as to be able to figure out who, in a fandom, did a fill based on their writing style while anon and their writing style while not anon in regular discussion posts.) Because I know this, I will actually change my writing style while making anon requests. Because secretly, I have shame.
