Man, I am fucking excited for Anime Detour tomorrow. I haven't been this excited for a con in... years, easily. Probably since my first time at Detour, all of four years ago now. And man, is that a weird thought-- next year I might not even have the time or resources to go, so I'm going to live it up this year for sure. And I'm 18 now, so I'm going to buy all the merchandise. All of it. And all of the porn, and all of the weapons and go to the 18+ panels and maybe the rave/dance party on Saturday night and just.
Just holy fuck, I am giddy. With all the shit that's been going on in real life lately, it'll be nice to be somewhere else for a few days. There'll be hell to pay on Monday, but I don't care.
By the way, on the tiny off chance that anyone on my flist is going (because fucking Minnesota, how does it work and also this state is a joke) I'll be (lazily) cosplaying as genderswapped!Dave all three days, so hit me up!
