this was an email i got from her.. well, she sent it yesterday

I do not think you get it.
I have watched you mess up your field hockey playing- senior year by not paying attention to your grades. I have watched you mess up your (AND MINE) vacation - break at the shore by not getting the old place cleaned.(They will not only charge us $50 a room to clean it, but will also charge us for the replacement of whatever...at cost. I don't know about you, but I work too hard for my money to throw it away... and I dont have $500 to $600 just laying around to GIVE them, and they will charge us.... )By not going to New Jersey (my only break for the summer)we will not be able to go see Monmouth before school starts. This means we will do a whirlwind during the year..only IF you're accepted there AND your grades have improved your senior year. I would be very hard pressed to co sign on a lot of money on a student loan, if you do not get it together. There is a lot a LOT riding on you, and you don't appear to be conscious that YOU are driving force here.

anyway.
it pisses me off that she treats me like such a damn little kid.
i'm totally conscious.. she's just to ignorant to realize it.

annnd last but not least, i saw a navy recruiter today :)
went with doug and abby.. haha
we [D&I] took this test.. and the range for an average HS student is like, 35-45..
doug got a 51 and i got a 68 [!!!!]

anyway, the recruiter was SUPER nice and pretty much really REALLY honest with us.. it was great. he talked to us about ALL options, not just joining straight out of HS. we got info and stuff and i'm going back [hopefully] on monday.. with more questions.. but for now, i got a magnet and stuck it on the fridge.. *hint hint mom*
