and so it comes to an end.......and other things.....
Today is my last Monday of maternity leave. This 8 weeks has gone by really quickly. I always though leave went quickly when women I work with were out, but now I know it works when I'm the one out! I'm excited to get back into the groove at work. Before I left, I had just gotten a "new" job doing a job similar to what I had done a few years ago. But, since they knew I was going out on leave, they didn't give me my own work, but instead I was helping out whoever needed it and filling in any gaps. Now that I'm going back, I'll have my own work. I really didn't mind helping others, but it'll be nice to have my own stuff to keep under control.
I've actually got a few things planned for this week: meeting my financial advisor tonight, taxes on Friday and one other day I need to get my hair cut, get a mani/pedi and get my eyebrows done.

I wasn't overly......anything.....about the Oscars. I thought Hugh Jackman did a really good job, but the thing with the host is, you don't really see them all that much. So even if they SUCK, it doesn't matter too much. As far as Oscar fashion, I didn't see any really HIDEOUS outfits, except for Beyonce's red carpet look.
Hope everyone is keeping warm these last few weeks of winter......Hang in there - spring is around the corner!
